STEM Trainee

Programme Description

This STEM Traineeship is a six‑month programme for recent women graduates in Nigeria. You will receive virtual soft‑skills training (career development, communications, social media) and activity‑based technical training (energy audits, financial modelling, data analysis). You will support SEforALL’s key energy access initiatives in Nigeria, working closely with government officials and project partners.

Your focus areas:

  • Technical Support & Operations: Assist with gender‑ and youth‑responsive energy activities, coordinate meetings and resources, participate in energy audits and site visits.
  • Financial Platform Support: Support the Sustainable Energy Finance Developers Platform by refining project data, developing training curricula, assisting with financial models (grants, debt, equity).
  • Monitoring: Help with data collection, market research on climate finance trends, platform performance tracking, and project reporting.
  • Climate Finance, Policy & Advocacy: Contribute to initiatives promoting sustainable energy finance, track financing commitments, participate in advocacy and stakeholder engagement.
  • Communications & Social Media: Create digital content (posts, videos, graphics) for platforms like Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn to promote project visibility.

Eligibility Requirements
