Women in Global Health Nigeria is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our field team as Data Enumerators for an ongoing study on “Gender Inclusion in Digital Health Campaigns.” If you are passionate about research, digital health, and ensuring equitable health outcomes across Nigeria, we encourage you to apply immediately.

The primary goal of this research is to evaluate and strengthen gender inclusion in Nigeria’s digital health campaigns, ensuring equitable participation, access, and outcomes.
Our core objectives include:
● Evaluating the extent to which digital health campaigns integrate gender in planning, content, targeting, and delivery.
● Assessing gender-based differences in access, message reach, and online engagement across digital platforms.
● Identifying the socio-cultural, economic, technological, and structural barriers affecting women and marginalized populations.
● Providing operational recommendations and developing a Gender Inclusion Framework for future campaigns.
● Developing capacity-building materials for implementers on gender-responsive digital communication.
Role Summary
As a data enumerator, you will be on the front lines of this active research, responsible for collecting high-quality quantitative and/or qualitative data in the field. You will act as a vital link between the
project and the community, ensuring data is gathered ethically and accurately.

Key Responsibilities


● Conduct household surveys and structured interviews using digital tools (KoboToolbox).
● Facilitate or support Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) as required by the study design.
● Ensure all respondents provide informed consent and maintain strict ethical compliance and confidentiality.
● Upload collected data daily and report any field challenges or bottlenecks to the research supervisors.
● Maintain the highest level of accuracy, consistency, and completeness for all respondent entries.
Expected Deliverables
● Completed, error-free surveys and interviews.
● Daily submission logs tracking data upload progress.
● Comprehensive field feedback notes detailing observations and challenges.

Qualifications & Location Requirements


● Priority Consideration: Priority will be given to existing WGH members.
● Location: You must be currently based in one of the following 12 research locations:
○ North West: Kano, Kaduna
○ North East: Bauchi, Adamawa
○ North Central: Abuja, Kwara
○ South West: Lagos, Oyo
○ South East: Enugu, Anambra
○ South South: Edo, Cross River
● Minimum educational qualification of an OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree.
● Proven prior experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection.
● Strong digital literacy, specifically with mobile data collection platforms like KoboToolbox.
● Fluency in relevant local languages for your state of residence to effectively communicate with community members.
● Excellent interpersonal skills and a respectful, empathetic approach to engaging with diverse populations.
