- The position is accountable for the operational administration and supply of British Council Nigeria’s Tax and Intercompany actions of the department and subsidiaries throughout totally different places in the nation.

Tax:

- Validate dispute by checking the information and supporting paperwork for accuracy.
- Identify/assessment and resolves invoicing points
- Book recharges by the intercompany portal and intercompany staff in the Shared Services Centre (SSC)
Intercompany Settlement/Cash Application:
- Coordinate with Treasury for any settlement necessities
- Prepare funds and collections referring to Intercompany
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller in the month-to-month money forecast course of
- Serves as the Nigeria middleman for all department and subsidiary related issues
Reporting and Reconciliation:
- Verify and assessment particulars of intercompany requests submitted for / towards Nigeria entities
- Determine acceptable Intercompany accounting particulars (e.g. GL accounts, Cost Centres, Transaction Type, Tax Code, Plant Code, and so forth.), when required
- Process intercompany account journal entries and submit recharge / billing requests on the Intercompany Portal (ICO Portal).
- Monitor pending Intercompany requests on the ICO portal and observe up related events who must motion such requests.
