Care First Community Initiative (CFCI) is a Nigerian NGO advancing human rights, social welfare, and livelihoods for susceptible teams by way of Food Security, Research, Livelihoods, Education, Shelter/CCCM/NFI, Warehousing & Logistics, Nutrition, Health, Protection/Access to Justice, Advocacy/Information, and WASH.

Location Borno
Duration of Contract:Â 6 Months
Reporting to:Â Executive Director
Role Purpose:
The Grant and Compliance Officer ensures profitable implementation of tasks in accordance with grant agreements and donor necessities. The position holder screens compliance with all contractual obligations, manages grant documentation, and ensures adherence to organizational insurance policies. The officer will contribute 20% of their time to venture implementation.

Key Areas of Accountability:
Grant Management
- Maintain grant agreements and documentation
- Ensure venture implementation aligns with grant phrases
- Track grant situations and necessities
- Support grant reporting and documentation
Compliance Monitoring
- Monitor compliance with donor necessities and laws
- Conduct compliance assessments and audits
- Prepare compliance experiences and updates
- Develop and implement compliance procedures
Documentation and Record Keeping
- Maintain complete grant documentation
- Ensure correct submitting and group of grant supplies
- Prepare compliance documentation for audits
- Support regulatory reporting
Risk Management and Issue Resolution
- Identify compliance dangers and points
- Escalate issues to Executive Director
- Support corrective motion implementation
- Document compliance actions taken
Coordination and Communication
- Liaise with donors on compliance issues
- Communicate compliance necessities to staff
- Coordinate audit and monitoring visits
- Support donor relations on compliance points
General:
- Carry out some other compliance-related duties as determined by the Executive Director
- Comply with and promote all CFCI insurance policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Law, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related area
- 3+ years of expertise in grant administration or compliance
- Fluency in verbal and written English and local languages
Experience Required:
- 3 to six years of expertise in grant administration, compliance, or regulatory affairs in non-profit organizations
- Strong data of NGO compliance necessities and laws in Nigeria
- Experience with donor compliance monitoring and reporting
- Excellent consideration to element and organizational abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and doc administration techniques
- Ability to handle a number of duties and meet deadlines
- Understanding of humanitarian and improvement sector laws
- Strong moral dedication and integrity
- Commitment to organizational compliance and accountability
- Valid Driving Licence
